Yesterday was a beautiful day, minus the traffic though. So as I was heading out, after I alighted from the keke (tricycle) waiting for the driver to hand me my change,I felt a tap on my arm, just as i turned around to give a proper tongue lashing(expecting it to be a 'garage boy') ,i heard familiar voice, sounded like Ope,my secondary school senior, Senior Ope!!. We exchanged pleasantries and talked, all the while,I just couldn't help but notice how much older she looked, likely in her late 20's or early 30's,my senior had these wrinkles at the corners of her eyes,we talked for a few minutes and she was off, this thought kept replaying in my head and I did some research on the best ways to avoid wrinkles especially at a young age. Came up with this amazing recipe which upon research was used by even some celebrities.
The maple syrup and aloe Vera face mask.
Let's get straight to it.
Assemble freshly cut aloe Vera and Unsweetened, sugar free maple syrup, the closer to natural, the better.
Cut aloe Vera send scrape the gel out into a clean bowl, mash to release the gel from the tightlyrics packed fleshy leaves.
Take 1 teaspoon of the aloe gel and mix with 1 teaspoon of maple syrup then use a food brush or cosmetic brush to apply evenly on face and neck.
You will feel it drying up on the skin and pulling the skin together in about 5 minutes. Leave for 15-20 minutes and rinse off with warm water, apply a very good moisturiser afterwards.
JUST SO YOU KNOW,
Aloe vera gel is especially beneficial for fighting wrinkles, as it contains polysaccharides like acemannon and other chemical constituents that stimulate skin regeneration and healing. It is also
rich in phytochemicals known as
mucopolysaccharides, which are rich in organic silicon. These compounds link with collagen, promoting the formation of new tissue.
