I like this segment a lot, teaches us something new,well the whole blog does,doesn't it.. Anyway,I've had this picture I'm about to share for a long long time and it has been like my guiding principle with neckpieces so I dont go out looking like an ara-oko as we say in yoruba. The picture gives samples of different necklines and the necklaces that would best suit those necklines. It basically guides us on how best we could wear our 'tops'. See photo below
Pretty much self explanatory. I will just like to add 1 more thing. If you have a thick short neck,short as in the distance between bottom of jaw bone to the collar bone, please do not wear thick chunky neckpieces with plenty drama going on,I know these big beads at the market or bead store be looking mighty fine but it would be best to wear a simple neck piece so it doesn't look like your necklace is trying to murder you, Less is more!
