Sometimes I look at my shopping list and just shake my head, why do we have to buy every single thing in this country, so many things we can make for our selves with materials around us instead of spending hard earned money all the time.
Today is for the average Naija lady, do you know that you can make those baby wipes u spend money on all the time? Please pay attention.
- 1 roll Thick ply tissue paper(one that won't disintegrate on contact with liquid)
- 1/2 tablespoon Babyoil (healthy babyoil)
- 1 tablespoon Olive oil
- 1 tablespoon Baby wash or mild bath shampoo(nothing too harsh)
- 1 cup Filtered or distilled water
- 1/4 tablespoon Essential oils(e.g tea tree oil)
- 1old plastic container(preferably rectangular in shape)
- Vitamin E oils to prevent mould growth.
- 1 drop Lavender oil for fragrance.
Combine all thevents liquid ingredients in a jug or cup and set aside.
Using your knife, cut the roll of tissue paper vertically on both sides, then place in the plastic container(at this point they look like serviette sheets).
POur the liquid contents into it or if you have a spray bottle, spray the liquid with the spray bottle instead.
While this is an all natural alternative, those paraded by big companies is filled with loads of chemicals. Take a look at this:
