Diy Homemade moisturising, chemical free shaving cream!!!

I remember when veet was the ish, we had  all gotten tired of shredding our skin all in the name of shaving stick back then in secondary school. The blades of the shaving stick looked terrifying and when I felt it was time to shave, my heart skipped a beat. So I bought veet, even got the cute little plastic scrapper... hmm,not only was this shaving cream expensive (especially for a student), it felt weird, lol. It just felt awkward seeing hair ease off of my skin. That and the itchiness afterwards. I felt like a chicken which was being de-feathered. It was not a nice experience. Not painful but really weird.
So I decided to experiment and found out that all I needed to do was to get a really comfortable blade and make my own shaving cream which i did.
This is the recipe I used

Ingredients
2/3 cup shea butter (ori)
2/3 cup coconut oil
1/4 cup olive oil
10-20 drops of your favorite essential oil.
Contents of 2 vitamin E capsules (available at your neighbourhood drug store or supermarket).
2 tablespoons of baking soda

Procedure
melt the shea butter(ori) and coconut oil together, turn off the heat and stir in 1/4 cup of olive oil. When melted, add 10-20 drops of your preferred essential oil. Pouf the mixture in a container and set in the fridge to harden, after this, leave it at room temperature to soften a little.
Add the other ingredients I.e the oil in the vitamin E capsule and 2 tablespoons of  baking soda.

You can mix this with a wooden spatula or if you have an electric mixer, the better.   Mix till you'll get a fluffy, whitish paste that looks like you can spread on a surface, kinda looks like butter icing. You can omit the baking soda if you want and the essential oil as well.
Scoop and store in a small container or jar.
It can be stored for up to 1 month so it's advisable to adjust the measurement to suit your needs.
