"What a time to be alive". I'm sure you've heard this phrase so many times. Well it is true. There have been a lot of shake ups in the normal way we do things. So many things that were part of our lives Ten years ago are non existent today. Likewise, many things that we own today we're non existent Ten years ago.
We have all witnessed the advent of Trillion dollar companies such as Apple and Amazon which didn't exist until less than a decade and a half ago. This is the same for mobile applications which have become a crucial part of our daily lives.
Ten years ago, very few people were talking about 3D printing,Drone delivery, Self-driving cars, Mobile Gaming, Virtual Reality (VR), Search engine optimization, Dating apps, Data analytics, Internet-of-things and so on.
Whole new careers have been built around these industries. Likewise many careers have been rendered obsolete.
One thing that really gets me excited about all of these is the OPPORTUNITIES that have been created. I know of people who never went to school but have become millionaire (USD) brand influencers, Social media managers, all these built around metrics other than those centered around academics. Now is your chance if you thought you were lacking in resources. It is time to leverage on attributes like Time, Discipline, Consistency, Focus, creativity and passion.
Now if as all of this is happening, it is important to keep your fingers on the pulse of whatever industry you belong and take note of trends and patterns so your presence won't be short-lived.
This brings us to the purpose of this article. I did some research and was able to find out some areas and/or inventions that might be in high demand in another 10 years. Best to keep an eye on that particular niche if you belong to these industries.
